•Participated in various compensation and benefits surveys to analyse general job market trends, including salary and benefits trends and use the metrics to analyze current job market trends and predict future trends to help develop a competitive pay structure for Flipkart India and to establish a competitive edge in the market.•Helped to create Employee Handbook .The handbook contained the various policies and procedures of the company. The purpose of this was to provide employees with a working guide to the understanding of the day-to-day administration of the policies and practices. Apart from the policies and procedures our 'Employee handbook' encompasses the main areas of the employee/employer relationship, including disciplinary and dismissal, employee grievances, employee capability, health and safety, Leave and holiday entitlement, use of electronic communications and retirement.•Formulated corporate policies for the organization and also for the specific teams at Flipkart India which covered travel reimbursement Policy, broadband Policy, Relocation Policy, Salary Advance Policy, Mobile Reimbursement Policy, Higher Education Policy, Car lease Policy and Corporate Referral Policy.•Coordinated with the insurance company on a regular basis to ensure that all employees were covered and made sure that all the insurance claims were closed as soon as possible. Sent mail communication to all the new recruits to ensure that their details were correctly captured in the system. Conducted meeting with the insurance company to ensure smooth running of the insurance programs.•Was the single point of contact for all employees for any issues pertaining to health insurance.•Was a part of designing the Car lease program for Flipkart India Private Limited. I created a back- to- back agreement for car-lease and Coordinated with 3rd party vendors who provided car lease facility and ensured smooth functioning of the entire process.
