Led numerous successful sourcing initiatives across a broad spectrum of products and services, including procurement of a new electronic medical record system, a no-cost upgrade to the customer relationship management platform (a $105,000 cost avoidance), architectural and general contractor services on a new $6+ million dollar health & wellness clinic, independent auditor services, medical and office supplies, temporary worker services, as well as all of the logistics contracts for AIDS/LifeCycle, which include catering, venue rentals, heavy equipment rentals, event service tents, medical personnel and emergency transport, bicycle shipping, bicycle technician support, event/ceremony production, etc.Wrote and implemented an agency-wide Contracts & Purchasing policy with input and consensus building required from the executive leadership team and various key personnel throughout the Programs & Services departments, and other agency stakeholders. Also introduced spend analysis and cross functional sourcing team concepts to the Foundation.Led an initiative to automate the Account Receivable process by working with various invoice recipients (e.g., San Francisco Department of Public Health & University of California, San Francisco) to allow electronic submission of monthly invoices and implementing electronic funds transfers for payment processing. This initiative eliminated the mailing of paper invoices and checks, and also virtually eliminated all messenger fees between the various entities, and ultimately improved payment cycle time for the Foundation.Responsible for annual A133 compliance audit in order to maintain good standing with Federal government on several key grant awards. For the four audits I was involved with these audits, there were zero deficiencies noted by the independent third-party auditors. For the past two years, the auditors commended my performance in meetings with the Board of Directors Audit Committee.

Our supplier diversity program is inclusive of women and minority business enterprises, as well a veterans, service disable veterans, LGBT businesses, and all small business enterprises recognized by the Small Business Administration. Our Sustainability program is relatively new, but gaining traction - especially in conjunction with a larger enterprise-wide initiative.
