I have been making music my entire life. Beginning as a chorus master, I have conducted performances of opera, symphony, and choral music on four continents. My repertory is deep and wide; my interests are wide ranging. I have served as both a music director in symphony and artistic advisor in opera. In those roles, I have helped companies move beyond their comfort zones and transition into expanded repertory across multiple seasons. I have approached other arts institutions and proposed, planned, and executed joint ventures with such strategic partners. I routinely promote local composers and performers. In rehearsal, performance, and the recording studio, executives value my understanding that time is money and dedication to spending wisely. As a free-lance or in more long-term relationships, excellence is my first goal and team-building is the way I get there. Outreach is next, and I am always available to guide the listening of any and all. I am interested in working with and supporting young people as I have in guest engagements at conservatories as well as through the Solti foundation mentoring program and the Olga Forrai Foundation.
