Joe is Founder and President of Broadmark Capital, an investment bank headquartered in Seattle. Joe has led Broadmark’s corporate finance practice through more than 200 private equity transactions with an aggregated value of well over $1 billion and currently manages real estate lending of more than $300 million. Joe is a sought-after expert on policy issues related to innovation and economic growth. He has testified before the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives and authored multiple op-eds on innovation policy. Joe is actively involved in politics from advising campaigns on the Presidential level to helping mentor and support pro-innovation Members of the Pacific Northwest Congressional delegation. Joe and his wife Judy are active in a wide range of philanthropic and community endeavors in the state of Washington and nationally. He currently serves on the AIPAC National Council and the local Jewish Community Relations Committee. Joe and Judy have four grown children and eight grandchildren.
