He has well over 30 years of architectural and construction experience, to include 28 years of experience in commercial, institutional, educational and retail architecture as well as over 10 years directly within the construction industry.His responsibilities have ranged fromproposal preparation, project management, planning and design phases of construction document creation and review through full construction administration.

Retired from the U.S. Army National Guard after 27 plus years of service.

Consult with Client to determine objective, scope, and resources of project. Responsible for development of projects in specific regard to Architectural Scope of Work, budget, and schedule. Responsible for preparation of Architectural and Engineering Contract Documents, following established Office Standards. Responsible for coordination of selection of materials, equipment, colors, and other components. Responsible for Code analysis and compliance of project design. Interface with other disciplines to integrate all project elements into unified designs. Responsible for preparation of project estimates.Oversee technical and coordination checking of project documents. Utilize computer assisted design and drafting (CADD) equipment and software to perform design duties and review work of others. Plan layout of the project, and interface with other disciplines to integrateall project elements into unified design for client review and approval. Responsible for client contact and delivery of project services. Oversee review and approval of submittals during construction. Act as lead in administration of construction contracts and conduct periodic on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with Construction Documents. Assist in production of marketing materials as well as responses to RFPs, attending and participating in future job and Client interviews.

Established the factual parameters of the design work (e.g., code, site restrictions, budget and schedule restraints, etc.) Identified building systems options and related performance and cost criteria; and assisted in the presentation of design documents. Formulated the project work plan based on an approved scope of work.Led the execution of the various tasks identified therein. Assumed primary responsibility for the daily activities of the architecturalproject team and the progress of the work.Assisted the Team in adhering to the project schedule and budget; and in identifying changes to the scope of the work, and relatedrepercussions on project schedule and budget.Advised the Lead Architect of changes in the project workload. Facilitated the timely exchange of information between all project team members.
