I am the technical lead for our web frontend and backend projects. I help plan our technical roadmap and am also the DRI for our login frontend and registration codebases. I have led projects ranging from rebuilding our login frontend, redesigning and consolidating our registration flows, and implementing new address autocomplete as part of registration. I work on experiments designed to improve Nextdoor’s login and registration performance, leading directly to increased registrations and more weekly active users

I managed a team of 7 engineers working primarily on backend services responsible for moving genetic tests and test results through the Invitae ecosystem. I coached and mentored these engineers, helping them grow in their careers. I worked closely with the various product owners helping to balance resources and make sure features and product offerings stay on schedule.

I also acted as the team’s Scrum Master, leading the standard scrum meetings and coaching the team to be as agile as possible.The Core App Services team builds and maintains the company’s core services, owning authentication and authorization, as well as other critical customer data and configurations.

I managed a team of 4 engineers, building internal tools for monitoring and managing our fleet of 80+ cube satellites.I architected, built, and championed an engineering wide system of automated run books for the satellite fleet. This system reduced manual execution time to nearly zero, while also improving reliability and reusability.I designed and led the creation of an event and alert aggregation system for satellite telemetry, practically eliminating false positive alerts and reducing the average number of alerts from 5 to 10 a minute to 5 to 10 an hour.

I was responsible for managing team members, interfacing with product and leadership teams and acted as scrum master for the team.I led a development team responsible for ETL processes and pulling data from third party platforms, as well as call tracking and website scraping systems.
