I currently work as a lead Server at Elements Restaurant while I attend school at Utah State.I am on track to Graduate in May of 2024, I am currently focusing on Statistics as well as Sports Journalism.While going to school, I have worked several years in the customer service industry. As a server, I learned conflict resolution between customers and coworkers. I developed my interpersonal skills, problem solving ability and improved my ability to work with a team. Through self motivation as well as willingness to take critical feedback, the restaurants I work/worked for continue to see an increase in customer satisfaction as well as customer return rates.Similarly, I have worked in person to person sales in the past for Aptive Environmental and Venture Pest Control. In my time with those companies I developed not only my communication skills but my leadership skills. While working with Venture, I was tasked with training new members of the team, well as planning and mapping routes for my team to visit. Due to these responsibilities, I learned organization and communication within a team. Because of our team's organization, we had the best per representative year in the history of the company with the average accounts per representative being north of 150.I am extremely passionate about self improvement in every aspect, whether it be in my studies or in my hobbies. I am obsessive with becoming the best version of myself, as a Statistics Major, I try to incorporate the subjects I am passionate about into every class. In my research paper for a class last semester, I did a deep dive analysis of how allowing steroid users retroactively to enter the Hall of Fame would inevitably increase steroid use amongst teens. By incorporating Statistical Analysis into my other coursework, I am able to improve in every facet and aid in becoming what I hope to be.
