The SuperCDMS HVeV is a 2-channel, TES-based detector that aims to use electron recoil within carbon-based substrates to detect particle-like dark matter. Previous research into particle-like dark-matter detection, mainly the search of WIMPs, has narrowed the search to low energy parameter regimes with interaction events on the order of single electron.
