Cisco Tactical Operations (TacOps) is the foundation of Cisco’s humanitarian Crisis Response team. In partnership with localized ecosystems, TacOps helps communities worldwide prepare for, respond to, and sustainably rebuild from crises through critical connectivity, collaboration, and security solutions. Current responsibilities include:• Forging strategic partnerships with public emergency management agencies, NGOs, private sector • Optimizing domestic/international shipping/logistics processes and protocols• Managing a Solutions Consulting program for building communications capacity of non-profits• Maintaining mission readiness of all emergency communications assets including the Network Emergency Response Vehicle (NERV), VSAT mobile satellite unit, customized portable comms kits • Overseeing Disaster Incident Response Team volunteers (DIRT)• Coordinating participation in global events (Cisco Live, NetHope Summit)• Generating multimedia content for internal and external communications (Virtual NERV Tour, TacOps Esri Story Map, SitReps, Executive Summaries, blog posts)

Direct Relief is a humanitarian aid organization with the mission to improve the health and lives of people affected by poverty or emergency situations by providing essential medical resources needed for their care. Direct Relief delivers more than $1B worth of medical aid in all 50 U.S. states and in over 100 countries around the world every year.• Currently managing a portfolio of over 300 nonprofit healthcare provider partners across 36 countries in Europe, the Middle East, Central, South, and Southeast Asia• Ensured the successful delivery of more than 1,000 unique donations of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies with a combined value of over $280M to-date• Successfully managed $16.4M in cash grants to vetted healthcare provider partners for initiatives ranging from childhood nutrition in Cambodia and Afghanistan, to thalassemia in Pakistan• Established a distribution center and logistics infrastructure in Cebu, Philippines in the immediate aftermath of Typhoon Haiyan in 2013 facilitating the delivery of 297 tons of pharmaceuticals• Coordinated with the World Health Organization, World Food Programme, MoH and local and multinational NGOs in Kathmandu, Nepal following the 2015 earthquake, for the effective distribution of urgently needed medical aid • Participated in UN Health Cluster meetings in Gaziantep, Turkey to optimize the supply-chain of in-kind pharmaceuticals to Syrian refugees and IDPs. Forged partnerships with the Jordanian MoH, FDA, Royal Medical Services and Royal Health Awareness Society, assessed needs in Syrian refugee camps in Lebanon• Enhanced the healthcare infrastructure of HOPE Hospital in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh and the BD MoH in Dhaka to alleviate medical resource strain during the Rohingya migration.

• Launched the Direct Relief Network, an online ordering platform that allows healthcare provider partners to hand-select pharmaceuticals and medical supplies from Direct Relief’s extensive inventory of humanitarian aid. Transition from an Excel/email-based system allowed for drastic increase in efficiency • Implemented and improved ERP system (SAP), CRM, and business intelligence reporting platforms

• Led a team of 8 professionals focused on optimizing efficiency of supply chain and scaling-up the processing of in-kind support throughout the U.S.• Expanded support of Federally Qualified Healthcare Centers and Free Clinics• Leveraged key partnerships with pharmaceutical companies and logistics agencies (FedEx, DHL, Boeing)
