One of Perth's premier and specialist bicycle stores, Riders Choice cycles provided a customer focussed destination for those seeking prestige road and mountain bicycles.As a senior sales associate my role orientated around understanding each customer’s personal motivations and requirements. In doing so I was able to maintain my personal objective of ensuring our customers have the best consumer experience befitting their specific needs.Achievement in role:▪ In 2012, I prepared a successful tender to be the mountain bike supplier for the WA Police worth $50k which was again renewed in 2016. Through the relationship established, the renewal included the addition of on-going routine fleet maintenance.

Dismantle is a not-for-profit organisation inventively using the bicycle as a medium to build relationships in the community, specifically in creating a positive social impact in the lives of young people.Bicycle Rescue - Program Facilitator▪ Worked with young people in adversity through a 10-week program held at Cockburn Youth Centre▪ Supporting participants in taking apart a bicycle, painting it, and completely re-assembling it▪ Ran community workshops on bicycle maintenance covering how to clean and lube components, repairing a puncture, basic brake adjustments, and how to identify wear items that may require replacement▪ Supervised participants with regard to safe and proper tool use
