Structural engineering executive responsible for managing the Naperville, Chicago and Omaha offices of Larson Engineering; a consulting engineering firm doing structural, civil, mechanical and electrical design. Responsibilities include structural engineering design, structural engineering supervision, structural engineering project management, business.

Managing the day to day operations of the structural department, which includes 21 engineers and 3 drafters. Duties include reviewing/preparing contracts, establishing budgets, assigning projects, determining design concepts and reviewing subordinates' designs/work. Some projects include:1) Convenant United Church of Christ-South Holland, IL. A $3 million.

Oversaw contracts, established budgets, assigned projects, marketed new clients adn managed projects. Responsibilities included site design for numerous building projects.

Prepared engineering calculations, reports and contract documents along with RFI responses and change orders; reviewed construction submittals, preforemed construction site observations, met with clients as needed, coordinated project with other disciplines, ensured that internal budgets were met and oversaw drafting personnel's progress/work as necessary.

This is a volunteer postition on the Board of Directors. My responsibilities relate primarily advising on building and grounds issues. My expertise in structural and civil engineering as well as my general knowledge of architectural types of projects helps me to advise the other board members on the building and grounds issues that come up on the five.

Worked as a design engineer for the structural design of waste water treatment plant strutures, industiral structures and highway bridge structures on multiple projects such as: 1) Ashland Avenue Bridge-Blue Island, IL2) 2 County Highway Bridges over Forked Creek in Will County, IL 3) Pipe Bridges Support Towers for Stokley USA in Wannakee, WI4) Structural.

Teaching materials laboratory classes, gradin lab reports and papers for classroom assignments. Preformed tests on concrete asphalt, deflection tests of passenger train seats and failure tests of slat connected wood trusses.

Inspected asphalt paving, concrete paving, earthwork, box culvert construction and storm sewer construction. Also performed construction slab marking pavement for removal and estimating quantities.
