Genesys Works is a nationally-acclaimed social enterprise working to connect companies with local, diverse talent by providing skills training, and employment placement of high-potential, high school students in underserved communities to paid, professional internships. Genesys Works pipelines these high school seniors out of Chicago Public Schools, puts them through eight-weeks of both soft skills training, as well as technical skills training in technology or operations support. Genesys Works then provides placement services for our corporate partners of these students as part-time employees at 20-30% lower cost than your typical entry-level position, all while providing ongoing support and guiding students through the college application process.It’s a phenomenal program that works for all with corporate partners getting 1,000 hours of value-added work, all while 94% of our GW students enroll in college, and 70% of Genesys Works alumni with Bachelors Degrees already make more than at least one parent, and 20% make more than both combined.
