True to our name, Early Adopter is always on the lookout for emerging technology to adopt, and a few years ago the field of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) climbed over the horizon and caught our view. Ever since then we have been gradually integrating AR and VR applications into our portfolio, a process greatly accelerated when we joined the Glimpse Group in April of 2018.Our primary focus as a subsidiary of the Glimpse Group is to provide immersive and interactive learning experiences to the education space, primarily through AR and VR applications. That space includes grade schools, institutions of higher learning, museums, cultural centers, and really anywhere the acquisition of knowledge takes place.We see the future of education as one driven by an approach to learning that centers on a student and educator relationship empowered by the amazing potential of immersive technology. Our approach to product development is driven by a focus on a collaborative partnership with educators, empowering learners as leaders, and a mission to use the transformative abilities of augmented and virtual reality to learn in a whole new way.

In order to meet this commitment, I provide quality services in web design and development, web copy, asset management, information research, and data administration. My experience includes:● Headed the development arm of the complete re-architecture and redesign of the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council website, including building a custom interface that allows site admins to create custom pages filter pages for LMCC's vast data library● Managed development for the complete redesign of the website of jewelry designer Jean Dousset, including a comprehensive content management system for the design detail pages that constitute the core focus of the site● Lead developer for the building of CBS Interactive's Television City website that included a number of custom features designed to create relationships between content and enhance overall user experience.

The web design internship at Early-Adopter involved hands-on experience with web development at a design firm level. This internship experience proved to be a very fruitful one, leading to a sustained partnership with Early-Adopter and continued work on many of their intriguing projects.● Managed a data migration process for an Early-Adopter in-house Art Gallery-focused content management system.● Worked on updates for WordPress-based sites, both from within the WordPress back end and by customizing code.● Developed content for the web site section of two documentary proposals seeking funding from the National Science Foundation

DPS offers services in web design, branding, internet marketing, and business staffing. Projects for this internship included press releases, SEO analyses, blog posts, and technical glossaries.● Composed a press release for DPS outlining their innovative partnership with social commerce site OpenOfficeSpaces.org, optimizing the article for related keywords.● Performed SEO analysis on several pages of the DPS corporate site and provided edited content for improving search engine exposure.● Wrote several blog posts exploring current technology issues like spam, search engine competition, outsourcing trends, and internet marketing; optimized each post for related keywords.

Future Media provides manufacturer-authorized software courses. This internship position combined registration management, training setup, and customer and sales support.● As part of the internship experience, completed courses in Flash, ActionScript 3.0, and Illustrator.● Streamlined management of registration data by developing PDF forms that run automated tasks created in JavaScript; documented the procedure for using these forms.● Performed multiple SalesForce.com duties such as creating custom record types, adjusting field dependencies, building searches designed to locate specific record sets, data migration, and email campaign development.● Documented several complex SalesForce.com procedures.

Superior Printing Inks produces inks for lithographic presses. Working in R&D involves ink formulation, quality control of raw materials, color matching, database maintenance, competitor evaluation, customer interaction, and reporting to upper level management. Accomplishments include:● Created documentation for comparing product lines, incorporating aesthetic and functional elements in order to optimize customer appeal; used internally, and externally with clients. ● Responsible for designing and implementing reports for easy compiling and display of complicated lithographic ink data; used in communicating with management and customers.● Combined meaningful visuals and clear information to create instructions for complex lithographic ink testing procedures.● Designed marketing materials to orient customers with a new Pantone color system.

Iris Graphics (now a part of Kodak) made large format ink-jet printers mainly for the pre-press market. Duties as a Color Scientist included handling printer color issues and documenting R&D procedures. Accomplishments include:● Wrote and designed a manual that uses screen captures to smoothly guide users through a device calibration procedure that fell across different software applications.● Responsible for designing and documenting a training procedure for creating high quality color profiles for a wide format inkjet printer.● Researched and compared competitor inkjet devices with in-house products.

Initial training in the color science field while working with inkjet printers.● Traveled to Tokyo, Japan, providing color technology support for a major product demo.
