Managed the design and deployment of an order management system (OMS) that supported the back-end operations of all consumer-facing ecommerce applications (stores, auctions, rewards) for the Internet portal. The system was successfully designed to securely support over 10,000 independent merchants with inventory management, pick-pack & ship user interface, and credit card processing. Designed business processes for the API’s. Wrote the RFP, selected Oracle as the ERP application vendor and hired the systems integration firm. Managed the system deployment, which included up to 24 consultants. Wrote RFP for the credit processor, made vendor selection and negotiated the term sheet. Collaborated with credit processor to develop the business process flow for automated merchant account approval. Designed the operational flow of fulfillment requests into a new, state of the art warehouse in South Carolina.

Managed three consultants, two remote client teams and a systems hosting team to deploy the first installation of the SAP-based e-commerce system.
