• Coordinate with the Corporate Finance team to ensure development and allocation of indirect rates including Home Office, Intermediate and final pools and allocation bases to ensure timely monthly and quarterly close process. • Train, supervise and review the work of junior staff to ensure high quality financial reporting.• Work closely with Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team in developing indirect rate budgets and forecasts to support the submission of annual Forward Pricing Rate Proposals including establishing and maintaining a Forward Pricing Rate Agreement and provisional Billing Rates with the government.• Coordinate set up of indirect pools and associated departmental cost collectors to ensure accurate accumulation and allocation of costs to final direct cost objectives.• Support the timely development, reconciliation and compliance of the company’s annual Incurred Cost Submissions including support of follow-on audits in support of negotiation of final indirect rates. • Collaborate with business areas to ensure compliance with the Disclosure Statement as well as accurate and timely expense coding.• Support analytical and cost modeling projects in support of Viasat’s formal response to government audits, reports and/or negotiations. May include scenario analysis around proactive company changes in accounting practices which variably impact costs accumulation, allocation and reporting that must dynamically address CAS/FAR compliance, GAAP-SEC Reporting, Tax compliance, project costing and other implied financial reporting channels.
