Most recently led UBS’ Special Situations Group and EM Lending for the Americas, a credit solutions-based financing arm acting as arranger and principal. Transactions were primarily private, and ranged across the capital structure, including stressed and restructuring. Responsibilities included origination, structuring, management of portfolio investments (including syndication of risk, as applicable) and all stages of the investment process, including diligence, financial modeling (liquidity, valuation, capital structure, etc.), qualitative and quantitative analysis, documentation and negotiation, presentations to investment committee and ongoing risk management.Tenure at UBS included 2.5 years in Hong Kong, where I served as a senior member of the team focused on a broader set of financing opportunities throughout Asia. Well-versed in Asia financing market dynamic, nuances of applicable local laws, and security and jurisdictional requirements. Evaluated variety of transactions across the region, ranging from China to Singapore, Indonesia and Cambodia. Deal lead or team member on more than 25 tailored transactions, ranging from equity through senior debt, totaling more than $5 billion.
