I received my P.Eng designation with APEGA in February 2022 after completing the required competency and work experience, and the National Professional Practice Exam. I completed my Master of Science in Materials Engineering with the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering at the University of Alberta. As a graduate research assistant, under the supervision of Dr. Anastasia Elias and Dr. Dominic Sauvageau, I was responsible for conducting research on processing the biodegradable and biocompatible polymer polyhydroxybutyrate (PHB) and composites using 3d printing, extrusion, direct-write printing and hot-pressing for use in SMART food packaging applications.
