Primary Responsibilities:-Maintaining and update cost pricing on all stock items including many non stock items from varying manufacturers in our computer system.-Maintain accurate IMAP and UMRP pricing for lines that require them.-Evaluate and maintain Sell Pricing for company. Work with other managers to come up with best Sell Price Scenarios based on market conditions and customer feedback.-Review cost's and evaluate different vendors to make sure we are buying as competitive as possible. Work with Director of Branch Sales & Contractor Sales to get insights on were we need to buy better-Review all invoices with pricing discrepancies and decide on the appropriate action.-Retrieve, Sanitize, and Import product data from different Industry sources (Trade Service, IDW, XO Logic, Vendors)-Monitor all Expiring Pricing agreements and work with Sales Managers and or Contracts Specialist to ensure continued high level of service through pricing.Secondary Responsibilities:-Help with purchasing functions when people are out.-Work with Inventory Manager and Director of Purchasing to keep appropriate inventory levels of products.-Load replacement products for items that are being discontinued or phased out and a replacement is available-When doing price updates evaluate items in system for no sales or usage and purge unneeded items.-Work with Marketing to maintain the Product side of our e-commerce. Maintain all e-commerce pricing and products that should be displayed. Continue to work on improving the product data available for these product.-Monitor web sales / customer information to better target opportunities and provide to sales staff targeted focus opportunities.-Using customer and employee feedback continue to tweak the e-commerce search engine to better return expected results.

-Secured new accounts and worked with customers to establish a competitive pricing structure based on customers needs.-Maintained current customers and tailored inventory and pricing based on customer purchasing and feedback-Maintained in store displays and merchandising. Rotated displays to keep customers engaged.-Helped setup and maintain the in-store digital signage and worked with our marketing department to keep new content on a rotating basis-Kept watch over inventory levels on "A" and "B" items to ensure that inventory was available as customer demand changed.-Answered phone calls in a timely manner while also helping customers walking into the store front.-Prepared small Switch Gear proposals for local store and other locations as needed-Partnered with our Marketing and Purchasing department to start working towards an e-commerce option. Helped set up initial categories of product and assigning ID's internally to associate the product to the groups.

While working with MSP I worked on many exciting projects. Most notably was the Martin Luther King Jr. Swim Center in Maryland were we did the electrical on the Water Park Addition. This was most interesting to me as it was one of the jobs that included many different aspects of the electrical world from motor controls to site lighting, to switch gear.While working with MSP I went from being a simple Apprentice / Helper to running the occasional service calls out of one of the service trucks and to overseeing contract jobs with helpers of my own.

Through my apprenticeship I helped complete the 1st Phase of the Pentagon Metro Entrance. After that I moved inside the Pentagon to help bring temporary power to areas that were effected by the terrorist attacks on Sept 11, 2001.

I started off at Target as a team member in the Electronics Department were I focused on customer service in that area. After learning this department I moved on to helping out in other areas of the sales floor.Once I had a good working knowledge of the sales floor I moved to working the Customer Service desk. In this position I was one of the first people that customers met when entering the store and especially when they needed help.While doing Customer Service I was trained as a fill in Manager for the front end (The Manager overseeing the Cash Registers and Cashiers) and on numerous occasions was asked to fill in for Managers when they couldn't work their scheduled shifts.
