I am currently working at the Sheffield Children’s hospital as medical administrator. The job role has many aspects which include handling private and confidential information, taking calls from patient and parents and other colleagues, including secretaries and consultants, around the hospital. I deal with the admissions of patients coming from other hospitals in Sheffield and surrounding areas and prepare notes for daily clinics also being held in the hospital. Within the role I demonstrate excellent good computer and typing skills, conduct myself in a professional and friendly manner, work well within a large team and able to take on vast amount of information within a busy environment.
