Calibration of test equipment for the purpose of ISO9001 audits • Respond to and solve production problems with a plan of action including responsible parties and a timeline for rectification• Project management, leading weekly engineering team meetings to ensure projects are on track and receive updates from colleagues on potential issues • Project tracking through Epicor ERP software including BOM management and costing• Liaise with area sales managers and key customers to ensure we are focused on their pain points and guarantee the products under development are meeting the criteria during the planning and development process • Introduced 3D printers to the design office, to reduce man hours required to produce prototypes, handles and other furniture which can be very time consuming to make on conventional machines, or entirely impossible to produce using subtractive methods• Overhauled the in house testing procedure and implemented a cloud based regime and expansion of the test area to include fully accredited audit testing• Redesign of tooling to SMED principals to ensure repeatability and consistency of production quality • Integration of a robotised polishing cell including: initial programming of routines; design of grippers and loading pallets; training of operators and reducing cycle time while retaining quality
