I am an engineering executive with expansive experience driving innovation, improving products and processes to better serve customers, and bridging cross-functional boundaries. I understand the big picture, P&L, and how technical and commercial elements work together. In my current role as Director of Product Engineering, I guide a team of nine responsible for innovation and product development. I have past engineering leadership experience within the metal fabrication, powertrain technologies, and power sports industries. My teams and I have designed, developed, and integrated engine systems as well as cooling, fuel, intake, and exhaust systems. Colleagues appreciate that I am calculated in my response to engine and vehicle systems integration and steady with my approach to procedures and delivering quality work. I bring a wide breadth of technical expertise in both large and small companies combined with a hands-on and practical approach. What I love most is the opportunity to work with mechanical components and to see those designs come to life. When I am involved and able to be hands-on, work is play. My leadership style is collaborative, and I take a great deal of pride from past successes in helping my direct reports earn promotions and go on to flourish in leadership roles.As a lifelong “gear head,” I am passionate about motor vehicles, engines, and electric-powered equipment and spend my free time on motorsports, performance, and vehicle restoration.
