Below is a selection of the top accomplishments from my career with Applebee’s: • Transforming underperforming restaurants within the Northeast area of Atlanta, achieving a 2.5% revenue increase within one year of assuming the area of director role by enhancing operational standards, introducing structured business practices, and instilling a people-centric approach. • Turning around a challenged location in Georgia into a highly successful restaurant now generating tens of thousands of dollars in weekly revenue by prioritizing employee well-being, cultivating a positive workplace culture, and eliminating disengaged team members. • Developing and implementing a recognition program for Neighborhood Restaurant Partners (NRP) that empowered 114 restaurants to take responsibility for aligning with health department requirements and obtaining food safety certifications. As a result, average internal knowledge scores rose from 83 to 89 out of 100. • Reducing customer complaints within the past six years, with some Applebee’s locations receiving no complaints, and securing an average complaint rate of 1.2 guests per 10,000 by introducing a “guest perception” stance and implementing a “guest is always right” mentality.
