To guide, support, and strengthen the Chesapeake Region Safety Council.

Develops, implements, revises and/or maintains comprehensive environmental, health and safety programs to ensure compliance with all applicable government regulations and company policies, standards, and values. Manages workers’ compensation program in partnership with the Human Resources Manager. Develops, oversees and participates in employee/management training and educational programs related to EHS. Works with Vice Presidents of Finance and Human Resources to manage insurance risk. Establishes a high performance safety culture by promoting floor visibility and strong relationships with sites. Manages site security programs, systems and protocols.

Provide customized risk management and corporate social responsibility (CSR) consulting and services to companies with 50 to 250 employees. For risk management, we provide solutions that are cost-effective in reducing workplace injuries, mitigate workers comp cases, and prevent costly downtime. For CSR, we maintain, enhance, or create programs to help companies make more effective use of existing resources to fully utilize the principles of sustainability. Then we track their progress and coach them to continuously improve.

Worked with an outstanding team of people to design, implement, direct, and audit programs and systems pertaining to occupational safety & health, risk management, workers' compensation, social accountability, and social responsibility for a family of ten bakeries including H&S Bakery.
