This was my last position at MillerCoors before I purchased Big Systems. I led a team 36 employees within the sales region that encompassed WI, MN, ND and SD. I worked directly with 37 independent distributors and 53 warehouse distribution points that generated sales revenue of over $380 Million. I had responsibility for administrative, local marketing and pricing / promotion budgets in excess of $60 Million. My accomplishments included:• Recognition for the #1 performing business unit in the US, retail execution excellence, brand sales achievement and “best in class” awards for various sales positions within the company.• Managing Miller’s “home turf” market and the risks / rewards that go with managing competitive threats, legislative issues and corporate responsibility to the Milwaukee community and the state of Wisconsin.

I supervised regional marketing and brand promotion teams that align with Millers' field sales organion. I was responsible for taking Miller's corporate marketing efforts to the field to improve the image and impact of the entire Miller brand portfolio. Activities include the development and activation of national brand promotions, sports and entertainment sponsorship and the development and implementation of grass roots marketing efforts. I truly enjoyed learning marketing strategy and management of advertising / promotion agencies, negotiating major sponsorships, local media management including internet, radio, spot TV and out of home (Billboard) advertising.

I led a team of National Account Managers calling on major grocery, convenience, drug, club, military and mass merchant customers. I also had direct account assignments as a National Account Manager from 1990 to 1995 that included headquarter call management of major retailers including Wal*Mart, Walgreens, Supervalu, 7-Eleven and Food Lion. Wal*Mart experience included the establishment of a remote sales office at Wal*Mart headquarters in Bentonville, AR. Customer recognition included IGA Grocery Stores Award for Extraordinary Volume Growth and supplier service awards from Fleming Foods and BP Convenience Stores
