Cross Yarra Partnership - Metro Tunnel MelbourneThe Metro Tunnel is a metropolitan rail infrastructure project currently under construction in Melbourne, Australia. It includes the construction of twin 9-kilometre rail tunnels between South Kensington station (north west of the Melbourne City Centre) and South Yarra (in the south east) with five new underground stations. The southern portal for the tunnel is to be located to the south of South Yarra station. Adjust where non-conformances are identified.

Novo Rail is currently delivering the New Intercity Fleet (NIF) Project at Redfern Station. As part of this project, a pedestrian bridge is proposed to link from Platform 10 to Platform 1 to provide easy access for commuters between platforms. To facilitate the construction of the new pedestrian bridge, the current assets require modification and relocation. As part of these works, overhead wiring (OHW) modifications have been identified as early work. A key element in completing and executing the design requires that the Alliance carryout a detailed site investigation and structural condition assessment of all existing OHW structure locations within the boundaries of the Works. As OHW Senior Designer expert on 3D modelling my role has been taken the responsibility to developing OHW 3D Design Workflow and Developing OHW 3D (Inventor Professional/Revit/Dynamo).

The train pattern changes at CRL opening will significantly change how Britomart Station and the east junction (“Throat”) function in the future.
