Jose Pozo is a prolific creator with ample experience both in animation and fiction. As a Director, he won the Goya Award for best animated feature for EL CID, THE LEGEND (2004) and as Creative Producer for NOCTURNA (2008). He also directed DONKEY XOTE (2007) and participated in various features and animated series for Filmax as Executive Producer. In 2013 he wrote and directed the feature fictional film NICK (2013), a project shot in English that won 11 international awards. His fourth feature as a director and screenwriter is 73 MINUTES (2018) featuring the outstanding performances of Alain Hernández, Elisabet Terri and Pep Munné. Simultaneously, he Executive Produced feature SOLO (Netflix - 2018) by Hugo Stuven and has just produced THE CARIBBEAN, ALL INCLUSIVE (2020), the directorial debut of Miguel García de la Calera, the documentary film MR. HAND SOLO (2020) directed by Hector Romance and 42 SEGUNDOS (2021) by Dani de la Orden and Alex Murrull, with distribution of Universal Spain.
