I am a Physician, with a PhD in Public Health. Retired University Professor, Academician of the Royal European Academy of Doctors, President of the Institute of International Cooperation and Relations and also Academician of the Academy of Science and Engineering of Lanzarote and Royal Academy of Medicine of the Basque Country. Actually I am an Strategic Advisor at Barcelona Supercomputing Center and president of the international Campus of Excellence organization.Also I have wide experience in organizing big scientific events and I am expert in communication skills, able to provide leadership for organizations, encouraging and promoting participation. I am an international speaker with experience to give keynote address in conferences, companies, organizations, etc. in different countries about leadership and motivation. I am creative, looking for better and more effective solutions for any kind of problems with ability to try different and imaginative approaches, using a mix of diplomacy and sense of humor.One of my abilities is the capacity to connect people and create a appropriate environment for doing business with themI am also a teacher who loves to teach, not only on subjects more linked to my professional background ,but also giving seminars and courses about how to tech effectively, how to communicate with impact and how to motivate to leadership.I have published as the main editor, a book called THE GREAT PAUSE. GRAMMAR OF A PANDEMIC, a document on the post pandemic era in which 13 authors discuss with different points of view, on various topics that would be affected in that new era.Recently I was the director of a Scientific Expedition to Galapagos Islands, organized by the Royal European Academy of Doctors, with a distinguished group of scientist, including 4 Nobel Laureates, Artists, entrepreneurs and academicians. We have developed the Galapagos’s Manifesto to ask for protection of the oceans around the world from the plastic contamination.
