-Lead group of +30 people across +20 countries in the coordination and implementation of a Risk Management Program for CEMEX operations-Prepare CEMEX Global Risk Agenda for review by Executive Committee and Board of Directors-Responsible in defining Risk Management Guidelines and processes for all business units-Lead implementation of an Operational Risk Agenda which allows for granularity analysis on the company's main risks in each operational asset as well as defining remediation plan for each risk -Identify ESG risks and develop mitigation measures for the Company's worldwide operations-Institute the Business Continuity System worldwide to help operations manage emergency response and increase business resilience.

-Managed diverse comprehensive processes for developing information networks and provide relevant information to the EVP of Strategic Planning. -Supported the the EVP of Strategic Planning in specific projects (e.g. PMIs), special task forces and certain Business Development endeavors (e.g. M&A)-Provided insights and early warnings, through intelligence products (e.g. periodical and extraordinary intelligence reports), on subjects of interest (e.g. possible social crisis, political animosity, expropriation signals, etc)

-As part of the senior consultant team, I was in charge of implementing Risk Management solutions to clients in the food industry, Telecom, as well as in the Oil & Gas (Upstream, Downstream). -Led project management of Risk Management solutions involving top corporate clients mainly from the energy, food, telecom and building material industries.

- Worked as a General Director for SETEC, Mexico's government agency responsible for leading the implementation of the new Criminal Justice System. - Responsible for designing and implementing policy procedures involving project management and follow-up mechanisms with state and local governments. - Participated in the design, discussion and negotiation of the new justice reform (Nuevo Código de Procedimientos Penales). - Developed strong relations with key stakeholders in the executive, legislative and judicial branch.

- Successfully implemented an intelligence system that monitors risk issues concerning operational continuity. - Responsible for ensuring PEMEX compliance with a social responsibility agenda, according to its Business Plan (Strategy 39). - Responsible for evaluating the feasibility of social development projects submitted by local and state authorities.

- Risk & Opportunity management (strategic, operational), business resilience. - Information network development (EIN, IIN) for risk follow-up and early warning reporting. - Developed and managed the company’s risk agenda in Mexico with direct report to country manager. - Coordinated task force teams (GAEs) to address/mitigate potential threats to the company. - Provided operational intelligence for strategic areas within the company (sales, logistics, planning), with special focus on competitive dynamics, political analysis.

Responsible for defining the CIC's risk agenda, as well as for the development of intelligence reports involving social participation and active collaboration in Monterrey.

- Direct participation in more than three presidential campaigns in El Salvador, Honduras and Mexico. - Responsible of conducting political strategy & speech writing. - Consultant for many mexican governors and mayors in issues concerning government agenda and risk management. - Project leader for the company's public policy division.
