Develop, implement and embed the Compliance Framework within the companies of the Latin American Region (Colombia, Peru, Chile, Brazil and Argentina), meeting the standards set up by the Group, complying with national legislations and regulatory requirements. . Approve all the Procedures Manuals and Compliance Policies of the national companies within the Latin American Region , including the policies of Whistle Blowing, Code of Conduct of Employees, Anti-Money Laundering, Bribery & Corruption, Quality Assurance, Data Protection. . Prepare Reports on Compliance standards within the Region for the Group Head of Risk & Compliance, Regional Management and Regional Audit & Risk Committee.. Coordinate the the Governance structure of the national companies within the Region and attend the National Board Committees and Regional Audit & Risk Committee.. Conduct the Compliance Due Diligence in all the Mergers and Acquisitions taking place within the Latin American Region.. Build and maintain effective working relationships with the national regulators, external auditors and external stakeholders as necessary.. Deliver presentation to the national Companies within the Region on Compliance policies and procedures and Regulatory requirements.. Perform ad hoc compliance reviews and projects in the national companies within the Region and undertake thematic assessments of particular compliance areas.

Issuance of recommendations where major breaches were ascertained and course of action of corrective actions.• Liaise with Senior Management, Legal and Compliance Departments in the Latin American and European offices to ensure compliance with local legislations and internal Group Procedures.• Review and approve written Compliance Procedures in the Latin American and European offices to ensure compliance with local legislations and internal Group Procedures.• Delivery of presentations to staff in the Latin American and European offices to promote awareness on the need to comply with local legislation and internal procedures in the placement of risks and handling of claims.• Liaison with the Financial Internal Audit Department in the conduct of the financial and operational reviews in the UK, Latin American and European offices.

. Handle a varied case load of high value international contentious claims in the insurance and reinsurance business of the company. Continuous liaison with the legal and claims departments of the overseas operations in Spain, Latin America and other Regions on the progress of the contentious claims until final settlement. . Appoint and instruct lawyers locally and overseas to conduct the litigation of claims on behalf of the Company.
