⁤Beyond incident response, my position involves leveraging SOAR platforms to strengthen the organization's security against evolving cyber threats, with a focus on event analysis. ⁤⁤I am devoted to creating customized automations that optimize processes and boost the efficiency of cyber security operations. ⁤⁤This allows the team to focus on high-value work while guaranteeing a prompt and well-coordinated reaction to security events. ⁤⁤Along with my technical responsibilities, I serve as a technical discussion facilitator for different teams, bridging the gap between business goals and cyber security to guarantee coherence in our approach to protecting critical assets. ⁤⁤I am enthusiastic about sharing my knowledge and acting as a mentor to my colleagues, offering advice, training, and experience. ⁤⁤They can keep ahead of new dangers and challenges as a result of this empowerment. ⁤

Provided first line helpdesk and end user support to staff and clients, as well as assisting in the care and maintenance of computing and network equipment. My main duties included to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues and prioritise, log, and properly escalate these to the appropriate teams if needed. In this role, I learned how to use Azure to prepare the workplace for new staff and manage identities in Active Directory.

Worked with a small team to deliver the software required for the business and used technologies such as Java, NodeJS, Python and C++. In this internship, I also gained experience working with a structured team and attending meeting sessions in order to report on progress and lay out the next steps of the projects. Agile development methodologies were used in these projects and provided insight into the structure of a real-world environment. We used tools such as Jira and Git and gained experience writing progress reports.
