Actually, my main activity is looking for new business opportunities in Portugal , for several Business Units and scouting Portuguese startups ecosystem for BASF Venture Capital.Therefore, I am working together with many different sectors of activity: plastics, nutrition, paints, resins, polyurethanes, coating, etc.For some years, I was also making sales prospecting in Angola. So, I was in touch with the biggest non-oil Angolan Companies. I had also a short contact with few potential customers in Mozambique. Recently, I was appointed as the Team Leader of Wood&Furniture in Iberia.

I was responsible for the technical and commercial assistance to the biggest paper factories in Portugal.Meanwhile, I was also responsible for the biggest paper factories located in the region of Madrid.For some years, I gave technical assistance to the Moroccan Paper customers.

I was responsible for the commercial department.In short, my responsibilities were to make the business as profitable as possible. Meanwhile, it was a quite challenging business environment, due to the lower margins and the volatility of the raw materials prices.
