● Measure and record data during setup to have a kinematic understanding of the cars suspension and key adjustment points (done pre and post-race) -- Measure shock heights (loaded/unloaded) and bump stop travel to understand the chassis feedback -- Chassis corner balance with use of scales to measure and setup weight distribution (cross-weight, wedge, front-rear, bite) -- Adjust steering characteristics by changing front toe-in, Ackerman response, and rear-end skew● Record adjustments and monitor track conditions during testing and race weekends to log the response of the car to certain changes from original setup -- Tire temperatures and the air pressure build indicate the cars handling conditions through the heat generated by slip angle -- Measure bumpstop travel for load and handling indication in the corners● Perform calculations such as: -- Adjust bump stops by using a load cell to first measure total force generated and then adjust overall bump stop load and delivery (‘timing’ into the turn) -- Gear ratio calculations to either adjust stability and drive off of the corner, or to maximize entry speed into the corner by minimizing time on the limiter during the straightaway which maximizes acceleration -- Packer shim calculations to correct ride height for changes in tire diameter from testing to race day -- Fuel mileage calculations to know how much fuel is being used so strategy can be optimized in the pits

● Took initiative to address issues at hand as well as propose cheaper alternative solutions and methods● Redesigned, manufactured, and implemented the new organizational layout for a new company trailer, in order to optimize functionality

An internship I worked at during my Senior year of high school, as a part of the STEM program.● Learned and developed a deeper understanding and appreciation for Civil Engineering. ● Participated in design plan and team meetings for immediate construction projects.● Worked on field tours and recorded measurements for on-site drainage (future construction planning on HWY 29).
