As part of Midnight Sun, we are currently working on a 2 year long project to design and develop a solar race car for the World Solar Challenge in Australia in 2019, and the American Solar Challenge 2018.Currently we are developing MSXII. As part of the team, I am currently working with development of the chassis helping with design using Solidworks 2015, and FEA using Ansys in order to simulate crash situations. We are currently moving into our manufacturing phase and I am currently working on designing a welding jig in order to help with assembling the chassis.
