I am passionate about helping nonprofit organizations achieve their missions and impact their communities. Currently, I serve as general counsel and director of grants management for the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust, a private foundation that awards grants to nonprofit organizations in Indianapolis and Phoenix. Previously, I was an attorney exclusively advising nonprofit organizations at Faegre Drinker. Prior to that role, I served as the executive director of Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic, a nonprofit organization that provides free legal services for low-income individuals. I currently serve on the boards of directors of PEAK Grantmaking (a national philanthropy-serving organization that advances equitable and effective grantmaking practices), The Oaks Academy (a pre-K through 8th grade school focused on urban renewal and fostering a racially and socioeconomically balanced student body) and Heart Change Ministries (a faith-based organization that equips women experiencing poverty with relationships and experiences that help them thrive). Former board service includes Near East Area Renewal, Indiana Health Advocacy Coalition, United Way of Central Indiana and the Indianapolis Bar Foundation.
