• Promoted following a company restructure to be responsible for the daily running of the Contracts Department with jobs valuing up to £1.5 Million.• Producing all of the company's site specific Health & Safety paperwork.• Building and maintaining working relationships with clients, suppliers and sub-contractors.• Programming of suitable steel erecting and cladding labour teams to cover current and future works.• Liaising with the Sales Department with regards to labour and plant costs and material procurement.• Organising and placing orders with sub-contractors.• Managing the company's Stores Supervisor/Delivery driver.• Overseeing the development of the Apprentice Site Supervisor.

• In addition to my role as Contracts Manager I am responsible for the safety and execution of site lifting operations.• Carry out pre-start site visits to determine safe access and identify suitable lifting positions.• Select and organise suitable cranes and telehandlers for the works.• Produce detailed lift plans.• Plan, manage and monitor site lifting operations.

• Assisting the Senior Contracts Manager in running the Contracts Department.• Carrying out pre-start site visits and producing site specific RAMS.• Procurement of labour plant and materials.• Monitoring labour on site, organising deliveries, additional materials and plant.• Communicating with clients and contractors to ensure smooth running of projects.

• Running the Repairs, Maintenance and Improvements arm of the business responsible for jobs valued between £1000.00 and £100,000.00.• Liaising with clients to ensure their requirements are met.• Producing accurate estimates and quotes for the works.• Setting up job files, organising the job detailing and material procurement.• Producing RAMS for the works.• Arranging works on site, organising the labour, plant, materials and deliveries.• Monitoring the works as they progress keeping open communication with the client, contractors and the works team.• Invoicing the works and producing O&M information as required.

• Producing estimates for bespoke precast concrete products such as stairs, ground beams, bridge decks etc.

• Working as part of the sales team to produce accurate tenders for steelwork and/or cladding across the agricultural, industrial and commercial sectors. • Overseeing the development of a Trainee Estimator, managing their workload and expanding their knowledge base.• Producing the company’s tenders to Main Contractors using the estimating software Strumis.net and custom made Excel spreadsheets.• Liaising with Main Contractors regarding tenders and ongoing contracts.• Sending enquiries to sub-contractors and suppliers for inclusion within the estimate.• Producing technical specifications clarifying the content of the tender.• Assisting the Quantity Surveyor by producing accurate forecasts for work under construction by the company, using the accounting software Axim, contract programmes, labour schedules and invoices.• Costing and agreeing variations to a contract. • Producing Operation and Maintenance Manuals.
