Nashville Software School is an intensive, full-time, 6-month boot camp creating full-stack web developers ready for their first job in the industry.• HTML, CSS, Javascript and React - Used to create full CRUD, browser-based, single-page applications, dictating the content, style, and functionality, while practicing DRY Code. Practiced JavaScript fundamentals leveraging modular, readable code and reusable components. • Hands-on application of OOP fundamentals in solo and group projects simulating real-world business challenges and problems. • API - Used JSON in several applications to interact with both local and third-party APIs and developed RESTful APIs with C#, .NET, and LINQ. • Task Automation with Grunt: Linting with ESLint, module bundling with Browserify. • Git / Github - Project management utilizing Github projects, issues and User Stories, and. managed source code on solo and team projects. • Styling libraries such as Bootstrap and Reactstrap used to design the look of applications, with vanilla CSS supplemented as needed. • NPM - Managed Tool Packages for various applications. Utilized Razor in creating and editing MVC applications. • Visual Studio / Visual Studio Code - Used fluidly to design applications from the ground up while familiarizing myself with various plug-ins and built-in tools to streamline production. • Soft-Skills - Facilitating in white-boarding sessions planning out application architecture. Lead teams in creating working agreements and promoting a positive work culture based on a growth mindset and collaboration. Developed multiple applications in Agile environments implementing the SCRUM framework.
