I have expanded upon my roles during my Summer Internship and Co-op experience to gain a well-rounded understanding of the entire audit process from start to finish while meeting strict audit report deadlines. I have experience with both Treasury Services and Alternative Investment Services products including Wire transfers, Derivatives and Middle/Back office operations. I have taken lead on multiple audit programs that encompassed meeting with respected management, writing detailed narratives on the audited processes, documenting exhibits and completing a Risk Control Matrix. I have also developed and enhanced excel documents of all prior audits within the audit universe to maintain an accurate record of past audit ratings, issue related exceptions and processes that were within scope.

While working for BNY Mellon as a Summer Analyst, I was able to obtain a basic understanding of the products and services within the Treasury Services businesses. I also developed skills in identifying key risks and controls within a process in order to identify control gaps to be remediated. I provided assessment results for two unique business divisions while efficiently navigating the TeamMate audit work paper platform and also designed and implemented a Reverse Mentoring program for the Internal Audit department and presented my proposal in front of the Chief Auditor and other senior leaders within the department.
