Hello, I’m a graduate of Walla Walla University, and have held a variety of leadership roles including as an Associate at Magellan Research Group, editor-in-chief of the university’s student newspaper, Warehouse Quality Control Manager at Sorbatto Fresh, and the president of the WWU chapter of Enactus.The primary skills I built on at Magellan were (1) Professional communication. A large portion of my time was spent speaking with experts, responding to phone calls, updating clients, and writing expert bios (these had to be expertly written because they were what sold our clients to schedule a consultation with an expert). (2) Delivering project results fast since our client’s investment timelines were short, often only a couple days. (3) Working with members of the private equity team to ensure quality work and that we met our performance goals.My favorite aspect of working at The Collegian was how dynamic my responsibilities were. They ranged from budget planning, hours approval, recruitment and interviewing, issue planning with the editorial team, tracking performance data, etc.As a president and project manager at my university's chapter of Enactus, I built and planned a community garden in College Place, WA, led two competition teams as we presented the project at the Enactus National Competition and a local competition. I also coordinated activities and communication between various stakeholders, such as gardeners, the university, local businesses, and Enactus members.In my free time I like to hike, write, and read. One of my favourite books is Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl.
