- Diagnose and repair faults on complex mechanical services, engineering plant and equipment, deal with new situations as they arise and pass on knowledge to others.- Carry out both installation repairs and planned preventative maintenance on conveyor systems, compressors, motors, pumps, ventilation systems and controls.- Monitor and ensure efficient running of mechanical services, engineering plant and equipment and report any performance issues to maintenance manager.- Daily maintenance of Hammer Mill , bearing checks , document wear patterns on hammers and pins paying close attention to tonnage rate per day .- repair and fabrication/welding of chutes, screens , steel structure etc..
