Collaborating with an exceptionally talented team, I was responsible for introducing innovative tools, exploring and implementing new ideas, and establishing a standardized toolset to facilitate the development of new applications. A significant part of my role involved identifying reusable components and tools that could be consolidated into a Core Library, enabling the App Development Team to work with greater efficiency and confidence.

Although I worked on multiple projects during my time, I mostly worked with Plant and Food Research which involved developing the front-end architecture for a suite of internal applications used by field workers to capture observations for kiwifruit trials using technologies like Angular 2+, Docker, Couchbase and Java, Working closely with their users allowed us to produce a solution that met their bespoke needs.

Runpath is a fin-tech company that focuses on building applications designed to help people manage their money better. I worked closely with the product delivery team to introduce features to their range of ‘white label’ apps, distributed by clients such as AOL, Lloyds Bank and Yahoo. More recently, I worked on a large scale mortgage comparison app for GoCompare.com.

The past two years have been a blast. Working with a passionate team and creating quality products and deliver real benefit to enterprise-level customers such as Trustpower, Bayleys Real Estate and Bayer Crop Science. By introducing automation to the design and development workflow, we cut out repetitive tasks and project build time was significantly reduced.
