Lead high voltage field engineer (October 2020 – present)Key Responsibilities:• Install various makes and types of switchboards and transformers all ranging from 415v to 33Kv; • Maintain a wide range of electrical apparatus including oil filled transformers to air circuit breakers.• Assist with the commission and pre-commission of switchboards, transformers and protection systems. • Carry out circuit breaker repairs to failed apparatus.• Test electrical apparatus for continuity, insulation resistance, partial discharge.• RoES for the field services which involved carrying out many risk assessments, following and amending method statements and assisting others in all safety aspects.
