Working in Technical Program Management as part of the Army's Career Skills Program in preparation for transition from Active Duty later this year.

Served as a multi-role manager in an 1,800+ person organization that primarily provides transportation and petroleum support for ongoing operations. In this role, I conducted operational planning, process improvement, budget management/forecasting, training management, and monitoring for regulatory compliance.As a Project Manager, I deployed new equipment across multiple departments, including acquisition, installation, and training, ensuring on-time deployment within budget. I have managed two major projects for deployment of communication systems to 11 departments across 6 states, including providing end-user training and logistical support.As a Knowledge Management Officer, I developed/built/improved the knowledge management architecture for projects, missions, and ongoing operations. This included a transition from a legacy share drive to an Office365 platform that integrates SharePoint and Teams structures supported by Planner, OneNote, and elements of PowerBI, PowerApps, and PowerAutomate. I regularly consulted with departmental stakeholders to ensure that the organizational knowledge base was growing, easy to navigate, and supported their needs.

Worked at US Army Human Resources Command as a Talent Manager, responsible for career development and job placement of over 600 Soldiers (>1,130 Soldiers during a peak period of 14 months). Led development team for workflow process re-design during organizational transformation. Participated as functional area expert for three Six Sigma project teams to improve operational efficiency. Adapted team to remote/hybrid work environment during COVID-19 pandemic, leveraging experience with MS Teams and SharePoint to facilitate collaboration in the distributed environment. Selected as top Talent Manager for 2020 and 2021.

Worked as multi-functional logistics manager at a 500+ person organization. Coordinated the organizational inspection program, frequently traveling to conduct inspections and assistance visits. Led mobilization and movement planning teams. Program manager for organizational equipment maintenance. Program manager for force protection (antiterrorism, physical security, and operations security). Program manager for fuel accounts and organizational fleet cards. Served as observer/coach/trainer during both large and small training exercises. Developed/implemented a cloud-based continuity book for the logistics team.

Operations Manager for a 200+ person Training Support Battalion that supported two Army Basic Training sites ROTC Cadet Summer Training. Planned and executed 12 training support projects per year to augment training site throughput capability during peak demand periods. Project scope included transportation to/from the training location for personnel and equipment, lodging and meal accommodations for staff, and training plan integration with external training partners.Reorganized the professional development training program and cleared a three-year backlog in employee training shortfalls during my first year at the organization. Extensive collaboration with training course providers and optimization of available resources allowed tremendous progress in a short time, sending more than 160 personnel through professional education courses in that first year.Established a resilience training program that not only trained all assigned personnel in resilience skills, but also developed four additional resilience trainers to support program goals.Managed an operational budget of over $1 million annually. Additional duties included providing suicide prevention and intervention skills training, managing force protection programs (antiterrorism and operations security programs), and managing the staff development program.

Multiple roles while assigned to the Non-commissioned Officer Academy at Fort McCoy. Initial role was as an instructor for the Army's Basic Leader Course (BLC), a requirement for Soldiers promoting to the rank of Sergeant. BLC is a broad-based course that teaches Soldiers fundamentals in leadership, training management, and warfighting to prepare them for future leadership responsibilities. Twice earned Instructor of the Quarter and once earned Instructor of the Year. Promoted to a senior instructor position with five other instructors as direct reports. Led training and evaluation of over 20 new instructors, improving continuity of operations and ensuring a quality instructional product. Joined Quality Assurance team in preparation for accreditation review, conducting focus groups and other internal assessments and developing change initiatives, ultimately resulting in a top rating of Academy of Excellence. Led a project to digitize student records, improving data accuracy, processing times, and reducing total manpower requirements by more than 1,000 hours annually.

Managed maintenance program for organizational equipment fleet (ground vehicles, power generation, material handling equipment). Responsibilities included leading a team of 50+ Soldiers, managing work priorities and schedule, working with external partners for technical support, standardizing business processes, and inspecting program compliance at subordinate organizations.

Worked part-time (avg. 20-30 hr per week) for US Army Reserve unit, pending accession onto active duty. Similar responsibilities as the following full-time position.

US Army Reserves

Military deployment. Responsibilities included completing scheduled and unscheduled equipment maintenance, recovery vehicle operations, port support activities. Additional duties included development of equipment operator training/testing programs for multiple types of material handling equipment and ground vehicles.

Worked as a fleet mechanic in the interim period between military deployment and transition to a more full-time duty status with the US Army. Performed scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a fleet of commercial and residential trash collection vehicles. Additional responsibilities included rebuilding/repairing commercial dumpsters between job site assignments.

Worked multiple positions at multiple locations during high school, undergraduate, and other time periods (Primarily in Albany, NY). Blend of full-time, part-time, and seasonal. Worked in both production (grill & fountain) and customer service (waitstaff). Responsible for training new team members in all three areas during a large portion of employment with this company.

Performed inventory management, forecasting, customer order preparation and shipping, resupply ordering from roasting facility, and basic statistical analysis of product sales/usage. Performed inventory analysis that enabled cost-savings through process improvements for ordering and stocking, ultimately allowing a reduction in warehouse size requirements while simultaneously increasing throughput. In available time, completed troubleshooting and repair of commercial coffee equipment in support of branch maintenance technician.
