About Josh Bowerman

I have been fortunate to have worked in the development/advancement field for over 25 years.During this time, I've had a broad range of experiences--I've successfully solicited and closed seven and eight figure gifts from individuals and coordinated special-event fund raising and engagement events for hundreds. I've overseen and restructured departments, and I've spent time making cold calls. I've travelled around both the United States and Europe to work with donors, and have been blessed to have worked with some really dedicated, caring individuals that all feel the same way I do about philanthropy--that it transforms lives and improves society. I've also been fortunate enough to have worked with some incredibly generous individuals and families who really believe they have a responsibility to something bigger than themselves--and are willing to share of their time, treasure and talent to affect the type of transformation in society they also believe so ardently in.In short, I think I have the best job in the world.Specialties: Coordinating collaborative efforts of various advancement disciplines to ensure maximum impact; coaching and mentoring major/planned giving staff to maximize potential; practical implementation of giving concepts and instruments to achieve donor and institutional fundraising objectives, and the creation and execution of strategic and principal donor cultivation/stewardship plans
