10 years service as a Military Fireman turned Yogi, now guiding others how to love life through the practice of Yoga, Meditation and Mindfulness.I’m a yoga teacher and mindfulness coach now running my own wellness business after serving 10 years in the RAF as a firefighter. I loved my previous job, but after a number of deployments to Afghanistan, I struggled with post-traumatic stress. Whilst out there, I worked from Camp Bastion on Nightingale where my daily job was to assist in casualty extraction and give emergency life support to hundreds of people on a regular basis. Here I tended to soldiers of all nationalities, as well as the elderly, children, and working dogs that unfortunately fell victim due to the conflict. After several more years, I left the Armed Forces to travel the world in the aim to learn more about myself, and this is where I found yoga. During this time I moved to India and studied hard, qualifying as an internationally registered yoga teacher, then returning to England to further my knowledge and qualifications in the field of mindfulness.Want to know more about my adventures and how I got to where I am now?
