Educating current technicians on scientific molding with a focus on implementing molding with cavity pressure. Handle all repairs on tools both in house and with outside companies. Conduct material trials to drive cost savings for the company. Teach and implement kaizen and SMED for more efficient product change over. Implement 5S manufacturing across plant for standardized and safe working environment.

All work done was with large injection molding presses 750 tons and up. Processed new jobs and existing molds creating more efficient cycles and higher quality parts. Familiar working with RJG E-dart, cooling systems, and material handling systems and robot part removal. Mold changes and version changes for existing molds also handled along with press maintenance. Worked with Engel, Toshiba, and Van Dorn machines.

Worked 40 hours a week, doing mold and machine validations, which involved setting new machines up and doing mold sets and verification runs. All injection molding high cavitation with post injection equipment.

Worked about 20 hours weekly with Solid Works, building and assembling prototypes, and working with clients on design criteria/problems. Also went through design changes as prototypes were made and worked with a rapid prototyping machine.

Worked 40 hours weekly on extrusion machines that produced 3-layerd PVC railing, became very familiar with extrusion molding and working on the machine, and post extrusion process, such as water baths, cut off saws, and automatic stackers.
