The Schedulers primary responsibility is to develop and maintain an efficient flight schedule while maximizing capacity for future revenue potential. The position requires support to the Sales team with regard to validating availability within the schedule and creating availability through sourcing Crew and aircraft from both within the Tradewind fleet and from preferred operators when necessary. The Scheduler is proficient in the use of Optimization software, analysis of future flight activity and the coordination of multiple variables across all operating departments.The scope of activity includes all future demand and charter requests excluding the next 36 to 48 hours. The emphasis is on the following 7-10 days ensuring all regulatory and internal requirements are met. The scheduler will assist with recovery options and support the Dispatch role when needed.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Arrange flight and crew schedules in accordance with Tradewind SOP.- Provide trip availability information to Charter Sales.- Utilize Optimization software with guidance from department manager.- Manage trip changes and/or cancellations and coordinate with Charter and Shuttle Sales as necessary- Create crew pairings and duty assignments to create maximum capacity and utility within the schedule while ensuring regulatory requirements are met.- Coordinate crew relocation and logistics.- Assist Dispatch when appropriate with trip recovery solutions during a schedule disruption.- Coordinate aircraft maintenance within the flight schedule- Coordinate flight training with Chief Pilot- Schedule and optimize shuttle services- Other duties, projects, and responsibilities as assigned.- Support Dispatch in daily tasks when needed to balance the staffing level
