My company, Burch Ventures, is currently focused on one flagship application, Nutralyz - Nutrition Analysis. This application is developed with the Quasar framework as a cross-platform app utilizing web technologies, and is available on both the iOS and Google Play app stores. As the sole developer, I have had to fill multiple roles, including:Front End Developer: I am solely responsible for developing the user interface of Nutralyz using various web technologies. Specifically, I have experience working with JavaScript, Vue.js, and Quasar. My tasks include: Creating and implementing unique visual designs, developing and maintaining all components of the front end code base, and ensuring that the application is responsive and user-friendly on all devices.Back End Developer: I am responsible for the server-side implementation of Nutralyz. Specifically, the server is built with Python, Django, and Django Rest Framework. My tasks include: Developing and maintaining the back end REST API and PostgreSQL database, deploying the server and managing the database on AWS, and ensuring the security and scalability of the back end infrastructure.Designer: Creating mockups, wireframes, and visual designs for the user interface.Product Manager: Manage the product roadmap, defining the product vision and strategy, and prioritizing features based on user feedback and business goals.Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer: Testing the application thoroughly to ensure it is free of bugs and works as expected. This involves running manual tests, and using automated testing tools.Customer Support: Acting as the first line of customer support, answering user inquiries, resolving issues, and providing technical support.Release Manager: As the person responsible for releasing the application on the app stores, I have had to manage the release process, including building and submitting the application, managing the release notes, and monitoring the app's performance after release.

I began this job as an apprentice electrician and shifted into inventory management with a focus on devising a system of tracking materials/cost. This quickly led me to discovering my passion for programming when automating some simple clerical tasks. I spent the following 1.5 years developing a web application that tracked every step of the purchasing and inventory tracking process all the way to payroll. This application is still in use by Mr. Electric of SWMO to this day.
