Economic And Political Adviser - G20 - Digital Economy Unit (Fixed Term Contract)
During this contract I was responsible for developing and articulating the official position of the UK Government on the G20's 'Roadmap for the Digital Economy'. This involved drafting the UK's responses to a very broad agenda encompassing expansion of digital infrastructure, growth in internet access, development of standards and improving digital skills. I was part of the team representing the UK Government at meetings of the Digital Economy Taskforce in Berlin and, during the final stage of the contract, I was an adviser to the Rt Hon Matt Hancock at the G20 Digital Economy Ministers’ meeting in Dusseldorf.
