I am the Co-Owner and Operator of Proficient Security & Data Integrations. We perform Security Systems Integrations and Data Cabling Installations and Service in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. My Co-Founder Mike Oliver and I share a wealth of experience performing these integrations across the continent in almost every environment and vertical. Before opening Proficient, I worked as Director of Operations, and Engineer for Elite Interactive Solutions. I worked for Stealth Monitoring for 7 years joining the legacy business in 2016 before mergers, acquisitions, etc. I resigned from Stealth as Director of Field Operations but also served as Director of Supply Chain, Process Leader, Manager of Project Implementation Division, as well as Project Manager and Sr Project Manager. I ended my tenure at Master Video Systems, Inc as an Estimator and Designer, I was an Electronic Service Technician for a year prior to moving to E&D. Master Video designs, installs, and maintains many different low voltage systems including, Access Control, CCTV, A/V, TV, and more. I worked as a Field Technician/Superintendent for Montgomery Technology Systems, LLC for almost three years. Working for MTS I was responsible for service as well as sales and new installations for the Texas and western region. They specialize in security control and automation systems for Jails and Detention Centers. Their systems control various aspects of the jails, from door and intercom systems to lighting and CCTV/Video Visitation.Previous to MTS, I was briefly a structured cable installation tech for TekkForce. Prior to that I was employed by Rockwall County Texas where I worked as an IT Technician, responsible for the Sheriff's Office's IT infrastructure, servers, desktop support, and other systems, including project coordination for CCTV and Access Control systems in the Jail. I've been working with electronics and computers all my life. I started with my High School my senior year where I was employed by the IT Dept to perform desktop and server support, as well as run cable for phones and networking. I had a year long internship at Royse City ISD, spanning my Senior Year of high school and the summers before and after. I've been fortunate to have worked with some great people during my career who have taught me much more than how to do my job. In my off time I enjoy spending time with my wife and kids, playing and recording music, and working on cars.
