production/quality repair tech honda mfg of alabama• Assemble parts or units, and position, align, and fasten units to assemblies, subassemblies, or frames (hands/power tool)• Enforce safety and sanitation regulations.• Plan/ establish work schedules, assignments, production sequences to meet production goals.• Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.• Conduct employee training in equipment operations or work and safety procedures.• Maintain operations data –production, cost records, & management of production reports.• Plan and develop new products and production processes.• Drill, tap, ream, countersink, and spot-face bolt holes in parts (drill presses/portable power drills).• Disassemble units to replace parts for shipping. • Clean and lubricate parts and subassemblies, using grease paddles or other lubricates.• Measure parts to determine tolerances, using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gauges• Read blueprints and specifications to determine component parts and assembly sequences of electrical, chassis, body, interior, and fuel systems. (schematics/diagnostics)• Connect/ Repair/ Replace cables, couplers, tubes, and wiring, according to specifications or schematics (solder, bent pins, coupler/wire change out)• Position, align, and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly.Continued ~• Assemble parts or units, and position, align, and fasten units to assemblies, subassemblies, or frames, using hand tools and power tools.• Track, record, and report daily repair issues and countermeasure techniques.• Run code diagnostics and L.E.T for troubleshooting.• Reject parts and track daily cost of rejections for supporting supplier support groups.
